Terms of Service
All customers are required to accept these Terms of Service prior to participation in all For Life Tennis Academy Coaching sessions.
By booking with us, you accept these Terms.
Coaching Terms and Conditions
Coaching Sessions/Lessons are available according to times agreed with a coach.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to a session or advise a more appropriate session/lesson if any participant is found not to be of the correct age/ability, or is unable to complete a session/lesson due to being in the incorrect age/ability group.
Only proper tennis shoes are allowed on court.
Coaching During Holidays
Coaching may continue during the holidays/school holidays to those willing or available. Please inquire about holiday camps and tournaments.
Lessons are run to the same calendar and system, as private schools, 12 months throughout the year.
Rainy Day Tennis
Note we do not catch up, or refund lessons cancelled due to bad weather. Instead, paper tennis will be done indoors, as well as improvement of mental toughness, which is an integral part of a tennis player’s growth. However, if a lesson cannot be attended, please discuss with your coach times and venues when and if you can fall into a group lesson as alternative. If an individual lesson is missed, a player may attend 2 group lessons as alternative.
Indoor Program Topics: General Rules, Dynamic Stretching vs Static Stretching, Career Path, Routines, Technique, Action thinker vs Story thinker, Game situations, Tactic, strategies and the difference, Basic tactical steps, Game styles, Mental traps, Good setting, Court awareness, General knowledge, Self-awareness and self-talk, Tennis psychology, Mental toughness.
Cancellation
Supposed the lesson is to be unattended, we require a 24hr cancellation notice on order to reschedule, otherwise the lesson will be forfeited. The 24hr cancellation policy applies to both Coach and Client.
Unfortunately, we do not make up a group lesson if missed. However, the arrangement with your coach to join one of another group lessons is possible if a lesson is not attended.
Lessons missed do not accumulate and cannot be carried over the next month. Scheduled make up lessons cannot be rescheduled again. Cancelled or missed lessons by our coaches, make up lessons will be done.
A month notice (1st – 31st) is required in writing (official to be) if a player does not wish to continue.
Photography and Video Recording
For Life Tennis Academy makes use of photography and video recording during tennis activities for promotional intentions. If you do not wish to be included in this, please email us about this.
Payments
All fees are due in advance at the beginning of every month or a coaching period. $10 USD late payment penalty will be charged on all late and arrear payments. In case the payment is not reived, we reserve the right to discontinue coaching with immediate effect.
Cash payments are accepted. Option fees are due 12 months of the year on our monthly subscription.
Discounts
- Family discounts – 2%.
- 4% discount when paying 3 months in advance.
- 8% discount when paying 6 months in advance.
- 12% discount when paying 12 months in advance.
No refund made for payments made in advance.
Annual Registration
Annually, a registration fee is charged once off. It is compulsory for all players. No annual Registration will be billed in October, November and December.
All Inclusive in the registration fee
For Life Tennis Academy T-shirt will be received to every student, as well as certificates and progress reports. The includes worksheets used on rainy day tennis done indoors, also their self-assessment worksheets. Updates for upcoming events will be regular.
The intentions of the T-shirt and cap is to build morals as a team and confidence. We want players to feel as if they are part of something larger than themselves to put vision, purpose as well as motivation. Our high priorities are to build the students’ self-esteem. We believe in building future leaders and the foundation is to have in themselves.
Progress reports and certificates are needed to understand the different levels players need to work through (A step after A step).
Indoor/rainy day worksheets are part of student’s tennis development. These include general knowledge questions, history and rules of tennis for young players and progressing more in to the psychology and self-assessment, strategies and tactics for bigger students.
